• Rodney McKay is born on an unspecified date. (ATL: "Quarantine")

• Lt George Hammond's father had his first heart attack, and was taken to hospital.

• The Apollo 11 moon mission successfully landed two men on the Moon. Lt. Hammond watched the moon landing from his father's hospital bedside.

• Richard Nixon is elected President of the United States. (SG1: "1969")

• SG-1 travels to August 4 of this year through a mishap with the Stargate wormhole passing through a solar flare. They meet a young Lt. George Hammond, who helps them get back to the future. Teal'c also learns to drive. They finally manage to return to 1999 on August 11. (SG1: "1969")
