• SG-1 discovered an Ancient time machine built inside a puddle jumper on a plant in the Milky Way Galaxy. General Jack O’Neil flies the puddle jumper through the Stargate to Earth, as he had the ancient gene needed to interface with Ancient technology.

• Battle of Dakara: The Replicators are wiped out by the Dakara superweapon. Jaffa Rebellion ends the reign of the System Lords. The Goa'uld Empire collapses. The Free Jaffa Nation is formed.

• Oma Desala engages Anubis in eternal struggle, effectively ending the threat of Anubis forever.

• The Rebel Jaffa established their new center of government for the new Free Jaffa Nation on Dakara and began restoring the old structures left behind by the Ancients.

• Jacob Carter and Selmak died soon after the battle over Dakara, but the alliance between the two peoples continued with Samantha Carter continuing to act has Earth's primary representative.

• Battle of Atlantis: Wraith civil war begins.

• Major John Sheppard is promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and placed in charge of Atlantis' military forces, after serving in that role since the death of Col. Marshall Sumner.

• Jack O'Neill leaves the SGC to head the Department of Homeworld Security.

• Major General Hank Landry becomes the new head of the SGC.

• SG-1 disbands, but is later reunited under the leadership of Cameron Mitchell.

• The Ori learn of the existence of Humans in the Milky Way. They begin raising an Army to invade the Milky Way.

• The Ori make their first attempt to create a Supergate in the Milky Way Galaxy. The location of the site is the Jaffa inhabited world of Kallana. They are unsuccessful, but Kallana is destroyed in the process, turned into a black hole.
