- Alternate timeline: Upon attempting to return to Atlantis, John Sheppard is sent 48,000 years into the future due to a solar flare. Atlantis is seemly long abandoned and M35-117's oceans have dried and the planet has become a desert wasteland due to the sun growing to become a red giant. With the help of a hologram that was programmed by and given the appearance of Rodney McKay, Sheppard is eventually sent back in time so that he can change the events that happened after he was lost.
