[edit] Biography

[edit] 2004

Representing the United States Marine Corps., Aiden Ford was present during the scientific investigation of the Antarctic Outpost until he was transferred to the Atlantis Expedition, arriving at Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. He accompanied Major John Sheppard on his mission to rescue Colonel Marshall Sumner, Teyla Emmagan, other Athosians and Tau'ri captured when Athos was culled. He was later assigned to Atlantis 1 with Sheppard, Teyla, and Rodney McKay. (ATL: "Rising")

Lt. Ford likes to name things; John Sheppard does not like the names he invents. This leads to a gentle rivalry when something needs a name. Aiden "won" the competition when it came to naming the planet Atlantica, a suggestion he first made while John and he were doing "recon" of the planet (ATL: "Suspicion").

[edit] 2005

Aiden after his enzyme transformation.

Almost a year later, during the Wraith attack on Atlantis, he was personally attacked by a wraith and almost killed . When he was again found, a Wraith had begun to feed on him. In the process his body was injected with a high dosage of the enzyme that the Wraith inject into their victims so that the victims will remain alive during the feeding process. From this point on, he becomes dependent upon the enzyme. The search for more of it leads him to leave Atlantis seeking out Wraith on his own so that he might kill them and harvest more of the enzyme. (ATL: "The Siege")

Ford later recruited a small force that became addicted to the enzyme, and later captured Atlantis 1. He spiked the food that Teyla, McKay, and Ronon Dex were eating to show that the Enzyme works, leaving Sheppard unaffected to better convince Dr. Weir. He also recruited their help in sabotaging a Wraith hive ship, but the plan went wrong from the start, and most of Ford's men were killed, while the others were captured. Ford himself began to experience withdrawal, and was cocooned. He escaped, and rescued Sheppard from the Wraith Queen. Ford then headed off to give Sheppard a chance to save Teyla and Ronon, though the Hive Ship he was on was soon destroyed. Ford is presumed dead, though Sheppard says he was alive when he last saw him, and he's sticking to that. (ATL: "The Lost Boys", "The Hive")

[edit] Military Decorations

During his military career, Aiden Ford received a number of military decorations. (ATL: "The Intruder")
