While visiting the planet Simarka, SG-1 witnessed the effects of the anesthetic warranting interest. When Captain Samantha Carter's efforts to equalize women in the Shavadai culture worked, SG-1 was allowed to return to Earth with some of the anesthetic, despite them most likely not receiving credit from the public due to the Stargate program's confidentiality.
