Atlantis conference room

The Atlantis conference room is an area in Atlantis. The city, and presumably other city-ships as well, houses two known conference rooms that allow the leadership of the city to meet and discuss important matters; both of which can be accessed by multi-panel doors. The smaller of the two is used for meetings that only a few people would be taking part in and contains only a triangular table with chairs, and can be entered through a set of doors in the Gate room. This table is replaced by a new mahogany one brought by Woolsey when he assumed command of Atlantis. The other conference room, which contains a much larger table, was used for meetings that involved a larger number of people and is located on the control room level of the gate room control tower. • Joseph Mallozzi stated in his blog that the reason the table was replaced in Atlantis Season 5 was because it was too hard to film in the room while the other table was there.
• The original Atlantis conference table is identical to the table used in the Pentagon in the episode "Disclosure".
