Atok was an Unas-hosted Goa'uld and the first Alpha Male of his people around 26,000 B.C., around the same time that the Goa'uld discovered a world formerly controlled by the Ancients through the stargate on P3X-888. He was succeeded by his son, the physically superior Apep, in around 22,000 B.C. who murdered him in front of the other Goa'uld and took his fathers armies as his own.
