Azdak is a Human male and leader of the people on the planet P8X-412. He was devoted follower of Qetesh and was appalled when he learned Vala Mal Doran was impersonating her in 2005. He sentenced her to death but Dr. Daniel Jackson convinced him that she was not responsible for the crimes that Qetesh committed when she was in control of her body. He then reduced the sentence to life in prison. When the village began to fall ill to the Ori plague, he allowed Vala to heal his people with the Goa'uld healing device. He eventually became ill himself and died. He was revived when the Prior cured the village. (SG1: "The Powers That Be")
