BF-8 was a type of explosive device used by the Tau'ri which contained trace elements of Naquadah in it.
SG-1 used the BF-8 explosives to destroy the deceleration drive on the Asgard ship Biliskner after the ship had become infested by Replicators in order to cause the vessel to burn up in an uncontrolled entry to Earth. (SG1: "Nemesis")
