Baker was a member of SG-3 and was guarding the Stargate on Arkhan's World, along with Reynolds, when Teal'c came through intending to kill Arkhan. Though assigned to stop Teal'c by any means necessary, Baker and Reynolds were both knocked unconscious by Teal'c and later found by Cameron Mitchell when they missed their routine check-in.
