Balera was a female Athosian. Her parents once gave her a necklace to celebrate her coming of age. In 2007, she, along with all the Athosians apart from Teyla Emmagan, was taken by Michael. Her necklace was stolen, and given to a merchant from M2S-181. Since a few Athosians turned into Hybrids, and several more were killed in the process, her fate remains unknown.
