A blast transmission is an electronic weapon signal that is sent out by a communications array that can travel a large distance and temporarily freeze another ship's control systems by overloading it's communication systems.

HistoryEdit

Jarlath modified the communications array on the Sebrus to freeze the control system on Muirios' ship, using the Naquadah generator that was powering the Sebrus's engines, when it is found out that Muirios was cheating in the race, and still likely to win. (SG1: "Space Race")

Jarlaths modifications begin to take effect

Miros' ship becomes disabled by the weapon
