Bynarr was the Lord of Netu and an underling of Sokar. He used the Transportation rings to regularly report to Sokar, as the former System Lord enjoyed hearing of the tortures of the damned. Jolinar of Malkshur seduced Bynarr, and used the rings to escape Netu. As punishment, Sokar took Bynarr's left eye. Major Samantha Carter used his hatred of Jolinar to get inside his quarters, trying to remember how she escaped. Bynarr knew killing Carter would not fulfill his revenge, but opted to do it anyway. At the last second, he was killed by Na'onak, his First Prime, who was actually another of the damned—Apophis. (SG1: "Jolinar's Memories")
