Bynarr was the Lord of Ne'tu and an underlord of Sokar. He used ring transporters to regularly report to Sokar, as the former System Lord enjoyed hearing of the tortures of the damned. Jolinar seduced Bynarr, and used the rings to escape Ne'tu. As punishment, Sokar took Bynarr's left eye. Samantha Carter used his hatred of Jolinar to get inside his quarters, trying to remember how she escaped. Bynarr realized that killing Carter would not give him the satisfaction of killing Jolinar, but it would give him some. He was then killed by Na'onak, his First Prime, who was actually another of the damned—Apophis.
