C-4

C-4 is a powerful plastic explosive created by the Tau'ri. The explosive was used several times by SG teams and the Atlantis Expedition.

The destructive power of the explosives has proven very effective to fight the enemies the Tau'ri has faced. Placing C4 in certain key areas can destroy a Goa'uld Ha'tak vessel. (SG1: "Within the Serpent's Grasp", "The Serpent's Lair") The explosive can also be used to blow open doors and destroy other key enemy targets. However C-4 is ineffective to stopping the Kull warriors. (SG1: "Evolution, Part 1")

The Genii has a great interest in acquiring C-4 to incorporate into their own weapons. (ATL: "Underground", "The Storm")
