Doctor Chloe Angstrom was a civilian scientist employed by the United States Air Force and was based at the Stargate Command to study alien technology.

She worked under her boss, Dr. Jay Felger, whom she had an incredible crush on. However, she realized that he seemed more interested at impressing Major Samantha Carter and that he was too oblivious to notice her feelings for him at all even after she kissed him before his mission to P5S-117. Despite knowing Felger was oblivious of her romantic feelings for him, she continued to stand and work beside him. (SG1: "Avenger 2.0")
