Christopher McDonald is an American actor who often plays pompous, arrogant or villainous characters. He is best known for his role as Shooter McGavin in the movie Happy Gilmore. He also played Lieutenant Richard Castillo in the Star Trek: Next Generation episode Yesterday's Enterprise. He guest starred on the first & second episodes of Stargate Universe playing the role of Senator Alan Armstrong, father of Chloe Armstrong.
