The Colt M203 grenade launcher is a single shot 40mm grenade launcher able to be attached to most M16 rifle variants or to a stand alone stock. (SG1: "The Fifth Man")

Col. Jack O'Neill has been known to carry the stand-alone version and several grenades on occasion, using one to shoot down a Death glider. Colonel David Dixon employed an M203 attached to a carbine to drop a wall on a Goa'uld reconnaissance probe, destroying it. (SG1: "The Fifth Man", "Heroes, Part 1")
