Stargate Operations is the main control center in Atlantis. Housing the Stargate, the holo room, the conference room, and the Atlantis commander's office, Stargate Operations is filled with activity on a daily basis, as well as a nightly basis. It is also where most of the main controls are located, such as the cloak, the shield, the long range sensors, and many other systems. It is also located at the second tallest room in the control tower, with the Jumper bay being the only higher location. It also has a power cut-off switch near the Stargate (this was shown when the Ancients aboard the Tria had shutdown most of the city systems.
