Delmak was a highly industrialized planet long controlled by the Goa'uld. It once had a large moon, Netu, which was destroyed in 1999.
After he was banished by the System Lords, Sokar conquered the planet and made it his homeworld, where he ruled until he was killed by the explosion of Netu. (SG1, "The Devil You Know") Apophis later took control of the world, and thereby Sokar's remaining forces, ruling there until his own death in 2001.
Apophis was killed when a Ha'tak filled with Replicators, which he was aboard, crashed into the planet after SG-1 sabotaged the vessel's sublight drives. Much of the planet was probably devastated. (SG1, "Enemies")
[edit] Behind the scenes
Stock footage of the surface of Delmak was later used in "Reckoning" and "Threads" to represent the planet from which Anubis commanded Ba'al's forces, though it is unknown if it was Delmak.
