Agnos is a planet in the Milky Way galaxy that is the construct of an artificial intelligence. Visited at some point in the past by the Ancients, several of their architecture was still standing by the end of the 20th Century. Unlike the stone buildings the Ancients in the Milky Way used, most of the buildings on this planet are identical to the cities and outposts the Ancients built in the Pegasus galaxy. Players would have visited this planet in the high-level 30's.
History[]
During the Ancients' occupation, they created an artificial intelligence as part of their scientific research to reaching Ascension. Once they disappeared from this realm of existence, the AI would spread itself and control the entire planet where it continued its functions for centuries.
At some point after the Tau'ri started sending SG teams to other planets, Agnos was visited by an Asgard with his drone, a female Jaffa wearing Horus Guard armor, and a Human in ballistic armor. While it is unknown what they accomplished while on Agnos, it is known that they later left the planet through the Stargate and headed to Anima Vitrus. (Stargate Worlds)
