Communications badges are small rectangular devices used by the Lanteans, presumably for short-range communication.

The first and currently only time the Atlantis expedition came in contact with these devices was during the mission to the Lantean ship Aurora. The communicators were used by the crew of the ship, who wore them on the collar of their uniform. By pressing them, they could communicate with other members of the crew. (SGA: " Aurora")
