Edison is a Tau'ri Lieutenant who is assigned to the Atlantis expedition during its second year of operation. He is also the leader of his own reconnaissance team.

2006[]
Edison possesses the Ancient Technology Activation gene. (SGA: "Coup D'etat")
2008[]
Edison was one of the members of a team Lt. Colonel John Sheppard created to attempt to save Teyla Emmagan on M2S-445. When the main building collapsed around the team, Edison was one of the survivors. He was able to escape to the Stargate and notify Atlantis of the incident, prompting Samantha Carter to launch a rescue operation to save the survivors before Michael Kenmore arrived on site.
