He witnessed the abduction of Major Samantha Carter. Later, he was questioned by Colonel Jack O'Neill and he told Jack he saw her taken by "ninjas". He claimed that he once was in Vietnam on vacation, a long time ago. (SG1: "Desperate Measures")
