Jan Rubeš (pronounced 'Ru-besh) CM (Member-Order of Canada) was a Czech-Canadian bass opera singer and actor. His most noted role was opposite Harrison Ford in 1985 film Witness, which was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won two.
Rubes also appeared in numerous shows and movies such as The X-Files, Due South and D2-The Mighty Ducks.
