Julia Reaves was a Tau'ri Major who was a member of SGR-2 serving under Stargate Command around two years after the destruction of the Ori.

Julia Reaves.
When Julia graduated MIT, she was accepted to the Large Hadron Collider experiment. She was then approached by an Air Force General who told her that the planet needed her and recruited her into the SGC. She spent two years traveling the galaxy doing research, science and discovery, before The System Lords surfaced and attacked. Captain Julia then managed Asgard weapons tech, researched and exploited symbiote virus delivery, and beamed weapons in from orbit.[1] She earned a promotion to Major due to combat action after the mission on Amarna.[2]
