Koz was a member of the Lucian Alliance and boarded Destiny as part of Kiva's attack force.

During the standoff between the Alliance and Expedition he was assigned to assist Lt. Tamara Johansen in the makeshift infirmary, though TJ told him to stay out of the way. He and Varro were the only two left standing after the firefight in the infirmary. Later he was exiled to a nearby planet along with Varro and several other Lucian Alliance members by Dannic, but later returned and was confined along with the rest of the Alliance members under armed guard. He was allowed to stay on the ship after Camile Wray finished her evaluations. (SGU: "Aftermath")
2010[]
Koz followed with Varro to try to save Tamara Johansen and Reynolds from predators who had captured them. However, he died during the mission when the predator attacked the group, and he was buried on the planet. (SGU: "The Hunt")
