Martha Wells was born in 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Anthropology. Martha Wells has written two Stargate Atlantis novels, and one SG-1 story published in Stargate Magazine. She has also written seven fantasy novels, including the Nebula-nominated The Death of the Necromancer.
