P2X-005 was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy which houses a Stargate. P2X-005's star system revolves around a dying star. When the local sun sets and it gets dark, it is possible to see a luminous layer of ionised gas around the dying core of the star expanding, almost like a miniature nebula. Despite the fact that it orbits a dying star, the planet seems to be able to sustain a biosphere, as it is covered in forests full of bushes and trees, as well as small bodies of water. In 1999, the ship Sebrus crashed on the planet. Three years later in 2002, SG-1 explored the planet and had set up equipment to study the nebula in the vicinity of the planet and encountered the crew of Sebrus and its prisoners. (SG1: "Forsaken")
