P2X-338 is a planet where the System Lord Marduk was imprisoned in his Sarcophagus by his own priests, with a carnivorous creature that he eventually took as his host. Thousands of years later, a rogue Russian SG team came to the planet, looking for the Eye of Tiamat. P2X-338 is a scorched world, with the planet's surface temperature averaging 135 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade. The planet was dry and with little in the way of flora and fauna, except for a few bushes and dry grasslands.

They were killed by Marduk, who escaped the sarcophagus. SG-1 and another Russian SG team went through the Stargate to locate the team. However, Marduk took one of the Russians as a host, but after finding Transportation rings, SG-1 destroyed the Ziggurat they were in, killing Marduk. (SG1: "The Tomb")
