Fisher is a female Tau'ri scientist who participated in the Stargate program, and was stationed at Icarus Base. In 2009, she and roughly 80 people were forced to evacuate Icarus Base during an attack against the base by three Ha'tak vessels. She ended up on the Destiny, an Ancient spaceship located several billion light years from Earth.

When Sgt. Spencer committed suicide, she was the first to have her quarters searched for the missing weapon. (SGU: "Justice")
