Flanging is the process of taking a source sound file, and adding a flange filter.
This process is more complex than just adding a flange filter.
Process of sounding like a Goa'uldEdit
- The audio is recorded on its own channel.
- That recording is then pitch-shifted to a lower semi-tone, compressed to fit the source audio and then blended with the original audio, with the lower tone audio being dominant. (Also called Muxing)
- The blended audio is then run through a flange filter, saved and then blended again with the blended source audio.
