Garcia is a male Tau'ri. In 2009 Garcia was forced to evacuate with the rest of the staff when Icarus Base was under attack. He was on the observation deck on Destiny crossed a gas giant. (SGU: "Darkness") He helped get the wounded Lieutenant Matthew Scott after he injured himself during the mission at Hoth. (SGU: "Water")
