Gawain was a Knight of the Round Table. He went on a journey to Vagonbrei and carried a sword with Vagonbrei's Stargate address on it. Dr. Daniel Jackson found a rendering of his sword in Merlin's library that led them to Vagonbrei. (SG1: "Morpheus")
