- "Well, it was a sweet racket while it lasted. Until the great god Grannus went and got himself executed by his own Jaffa. Since then, the number of pilgrims has been, well, significantly reduced."
Grannus was a Goa'uld who posed as a minor Celtic god, one of Camulus' former lieutenants. He was executed by his own Jaffa after the demise of the Goa'uld following the successful Jaffa uprising. Despite this, his priests became even more fanatical and so it was still possible to worship him at his Monastery's Ring of Shen Marak, as Caius learned. (SG1: "The Ties That Bind")
