The Great Battle is a battle where the Lilith cult believe that there will be an outright war against the Ori, with victory being the chance to achieve their destiny. The Ninlil shared a belief that one of the Ancients would return to human form to lead humanity in this battle. Due to his Ascension, return to mortal form and role in the Ori war, the Ninlin believed this to be Doctor Daniel Jackson. (SGA: "Blood Ties")
