"Surrender or die!"
―Her'ak[src]

Her'ak was the First Prime of Anubis and before of Khonsu. He served Anubis up until his first death in 2004 during the Battle of Antarctica, where Her'ak met his own demise.

Biography[]

2002[]

He was sent on a mission to P5X-112 to capture SG-1. After completing his mission and returning to Khonsu's World he killed Khonsu who he knew was really a Tok'ra. He intended to turn SG-1 over to Anubis but they escaped with the help of Dr. Jay Felger and Dr. Simon Coombs. (SG1: "The Other Guys")

2003[]

He was promoted to First Prime of Anubis for his loyalty. He led the attack on Abydos to secure the Eye of Ra. When SG-1 discovered it first, he cornered them in the pyramid. He negotiated the deal with Colonel Jack O'Neill and Anubis for the Eye in exchange for releasing SG-1 and the Abydonians. (SG1: "Full Circle")

He traveled to Vis Uban with Anubis in search of the Lost City of the Ancients. When Colonel Jack O'Neill and Major Samantha Carter used the X-302 hyperspace fighter's hyperdrive to pass through the shield of Anubis' mothership, he attempted to shoot them down. He was unable to do so and they destroyed Anubis' superweapon. After his Jaffa captured Jonas Quinn and Anubis learned of Naquadria, he traveled to Langara. After Anubis' Goa'uld Lieutenant failed to stabilize the generator powered by Naquadria, he was ordered by Anubis to kill him. His Jaffa then began to search for the Data Crystals that Thanos left behind but SG-1 was able to find it first. He then made a deal with Commander Hale to turn over the crystal and SG-1 in exchange for Kelowna's freedom. He then double-crossed Hale and killed him. SG-1 attacked him and his Jaffa but he was able to escape through the Stargate. (SG1: "Fallen", "Homecoming")

Jay Felger often boasted about his role in defeating Her'ak to his assistant Chloe Angstrom. (SG1: "Avenger 2.0")

2004[]

When Anubis attacked Earth, Her'ak was killed aboard Anubis' mothership as it was destroyed by the Antarctic Ancient weapons platform Jack brought online by sitting in the Ancient control-chair which instantly responded to Jack's previously unknown ATA gene. (SG1: "Lost City, Part 2")
