M6H-987 was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. Janus' research outpost was located here, which was under the control of the Vanir before its destruction in 2008 during the Battle of M6H-987. The planet does not have a Stargate, and because Colonel Sheppard and his team could not gate to the world, they traveled there using a Traveler ship. (ATL: "First Contact", "The Lost Tribe")
