Ignis designated P9T-166 of Tau'ri was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy which has a Stargate. The planet was previously inhabited by an advanced human civilization which is now extinct, and previous residence is in ruins. Ignis is uninhabitable after the surface is influenced by radiation. Alpha team was on the planet and was looking for an advanced piece of technology that they brought with them to Perseus. (SG1: "Hydra")
