Ishkur

Ishkur was a Goa'uld who was alive five millenia ago, though his current status is unknown. He had an army of Jaffa warriors but many, as they rose through his ranks, soon discovered that he was not the god he claimed to be. Ishkur branded these Jaffa traitors and ordered them to be killed. The Jaffa tried to fight against him, but were overpowered by sheer numbers and so instead a small group set off to find the legendary planet Kheb. Although they did not find it, they instead settled on a world the Tauri came to designate P9G-844 and called themselves the Sodan. (SG1: "Babylon")
