Jamus' homeworld is a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. The planet had at least one asteroid-like moon, which was hollowed out and made into a moon base. A while ago, the planet was home to a race of Humans, whose technology is comparable to the 1960s on Earth.
The planet was abandoned due to a Wraith attack, with at least 1,000 of the original inhabitants stored in a pattern storage module derived from a Wraith beaming device in the moon base in the orbiting moon. The rest of Jamus' people were killed and destroyed, many by their own atomic weapons, which wiped out the remaining Human population as well as the attacking Hive ships. After being freed from the pattern storage module by Lt. Colonel John Sheppard's team, the Human inhabitants were able to start their civilization once again.
This planet is notable for being one of the two known unprotected Pegasus galaxy human civilizations that was able to achieve spaceflight, the other being the Travelers. (SGA: "The Ark")
