Ka'lel was one of the female Jaffa warriors who joined the Hak'tyl Resistance.

She joined the resistance after the Goa'uld Moloc wanted to control his population by killing girls through a death by fire ritual. She managed to have joined Ishta and the resistance and rescued the girls. She also supported the alliance that Ishta proposed with the Tau'ri, and took Teal'c and Daniel Jackson to the planet Ishta and Neith travelled to to acquire a symbiote. Since the emergence of the Free Jaffa Nation, she has served as their representative on the Jaffa High Council. Ba'al was able to brainwash her during his attempts to control the Free Jaffa Nation. It is unknown if her brainwashing was overcome. (SG1: "Birthright", "Stronghold")
