Katep was a young man from ancient Egypt.
Biography[]
3000 B.C.[]
He and his brother Salatis were on a pilgrimage to worship Ra. When SG-1 traveled back in time to 3000 B.C., they met him there. His brother was killed by Ra and Katep decided to rebel. The rebellion succeeded, but Ra took the Stargate with him, causing a disruption in the timeline. Katep met the second SG-1 when they arrived to fix the timeline by stopping Ra from taking the Gate. The second rebellion was successful and his people were freed. (SG1: "Moebius, Part 1", "Moebius, Part 2")
