History
Edit
When Ronon Dex was made a runner by the Wraith, sometime between 1998 and 2005 he visited the village through one of several planets he visited. He stayed the night there where they tended to him and give food and shelter. However he stayed there too long and the Wraith tracked him and culled the village. After the culling, the Wraith spared a few of them and gave them a tracking device if they saw Ronon again, in exchange, their village will be free from future cullings. Unfortunately Ronon and AR-1 arrived on that planet and imprisoned the team, except McKay, who managed to escape. They activated the device and waited for the Wraith. They let everyone except Ronon go. However, when the Wraith arrived, they took Ronon, but didn't honour their end of the bargain and wiped out Keturah and his people. When Sheppard, Teyla, McKay and Beckett came to rescue him, Ronon refused to leave if it meant the people's safety. Once he learned that the people were culled, Ronon went into a rage and swore to kill the Wraith responsible. The Wraith responsible was killed by Doctor Beckett with a drone weapon, and Keturah's people were at least somewhat avenged. (ATL: "Sateda")
