Biography[]
2003[]
After the destruction of Anubis's mothership over Kelowna in 2003, a Goa'uld in the service of Ba'al came to the planet to discover why Anubis had come there. The Goa'uld eventually took Kianna as a host. Sometime afterward, the Goa'uld in the body of Kianna met Jonas, and the two became romantically involved. The two were eventually assigned to the Kelownan Deep Underground Excavation Vehicle, and the possessed Kianna personally upgraded the hydraulics, shielding mechanisms, and primary distribution circuits, enhancing them with Goa'uld technology. The symbiote never told Ba'al the reason Anubis came to the planet, for its intention was to keep the planet's Naquadria and build a mighty empire. (SG1: "Fallout")
However, when Langara was threatened by a massive and volatile vein of Naquadria building up under the planet's surface, the new Joint Ruling Council asked the Tau'ri for help. Major Samantha Carter was assigned to perfect Jonas Quinn's Deep Underground Excavation Vehicle, and eventually came in contact with Kianna. To prevent the former Tok'ra host from sensing the presence of the Goa'uld symbiote, Kianna began taking a masking drug.
When Carter realized the DUEV's design was beyond Langara's technical capabilities, she began to suspect Kianna and ordered her quarters searched, where a Goa'uld Long range visual communication device and the suppression drug were discovered. Although the Goa'uld was exposed, Carter realized they still needed her help to pilot the highly modified DUEV. Eventually, Kianna's symbiote sacrificed herself to seal off the vein beneath the crust of Langara when the excavator could no longer proceed further. Although she successfully made it back to the surface and was returned to Earth for treatment, the symbiote did not survive and made a conscious choice not to take the host with her, leaving Kianna to live out her life. Kianna still recalled the time she was possessed by the Goa'uld, and returned to Langara alongside Jonas. (SG1: "Fallout")
After his experience, the traumatized Kianna took some time to work again. She joined Jonas and Rahil in the project to create a defense Array around Langara. Her knowledge learned from his symbiote proved unvaluable. Soon it became evident than she felt something towards Jonas, but her doubts about if the feelings were hers or from her Goa'uld prevented her to recognize them for some time. However, she eventually shared them, and Jonas felt the same towards her. Kianna exposed Rahil as a Goa'uld, and almost killed him, but Jonas stopped her after knowing he was, in fact, a Tok'ra agent. After the Array, upgraded with Replicator technology, turned against their creators, Kianna was key to stop it. Before departing to Valhalla, Jonas promised her he will return to her, at any costs, which he did. (SG1: "Valhalla")
