Larry Murphy was a Captain in the United States Air Force and a scientist who worked on X-302 hyperspace fighter project.
Biography[]
2002[]
He headed mission control during the first failed attempt by Colonel Jack O'Neill and Major Samantha Carter to use the 302's hyperdrive to travel to Abydos and inform the Asgard that they were under attack by Anubis. He then supervised the attempt to attach the Stargate to the underside of the X-302 and once again headed mission control. (SG1: "Redemption, Part 1", "Redemption, Part 2")
