Level 16 is a level and area of Stargate Command. It houses an auxiliary monitoring station. In 2000, when General Hammond was replaced by Bauer, the test of a naquadah enhanced warhead on an uninhabited planet caused massive amounts of radiation to feed back through the active wormhole. Members of SG-1 and Gen. Bauer moved to the monitoring station on level 16 to observe the Gate Room from a safe distance. (SG1: "Chain Reaction")
