Alexandra L. Doig, was born on 1973-06-08 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is of British ancestry on her fathers side, and Filipino on her mothers side. She acts under the name Lexa, and is most famous for her roles as the ships personality, and android on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband Michael Shanks.
She met Michael on the set of the Andromeda episode "Star-Crossed", and they married on 2003-08-02. They had a daughter (Mia Tabitha) on 2004-09-13, and a son (Samuel David) on 2006-03-19.
She also appeared with Torri Higginson in TekWar (1994) and Jungleground (1995).
