M1K-177 was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy that was unwillingly under the control of the Genii. Spies roamed the villages to the extent that public conversation was closely guarded. In 2006, Major Evan Lorne's team was captured by the Genii, who gave out a reward to the team (some of whom had the ATA gene), since the people there generally lived in poverty, and was made to look like the team was killed in a house fire.
