"Tracker" |
M33-985 was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy, which held a Stargate. The planet's gate was situated in the middle of the thick forest there. There is at least one village there, which is at a distance from the gate. The planet's sun has a very gradual descent angle, meaning the world has very short nights, possibly meaning that the planet's axis and rotation is very different to Earth's, similar to "Whitehorse in June", according to Dr. Rodney McKay. There are also several caverns, which are big enough to hide all the villagers from the Wraith, if they are to cull that world. The people's ancestors used the caverns the last culling.
In 2008, the village was infected with an illness similar to influenza. Dr. Jennifer Keller, Dr. Rodney McKay and Ronon Dex came to the planet to help the villagers. The planet was visited by a runner named Kiryk, where he kidnapped Keller, to save his ten-year old companion, Celise. (ATL: "Tracker")
