M4S-587 was a planet in Pegasus Galaxy which held a Stargate. Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and Major Evan Lorne's team visited the planet to speak with a Genii contact who claimed to know the whereabouts of Teyla Emmagan. However, the contact didn't show, so Sheppard left the planet and ordered Lorne to stay for some extra time in case he did show. (ATL: "The Last Man")
